He is a folk singer, born in El Sakakini neighborhood, Cairo in 1964. He performed at weddings until he became one of the most famous singers on Haram Street and big hotels. He released several albums, including "The Memories". He appeared in the films Awad in a Mess (2000), and Downtown Shaking (2015).
