Among his most important works are: Ken Hogan's Heroes (1971), The Lieutenant (1963), First Monday in October (1981), and Billy Jack Goes to Washington (1977). Ken's last work was Fletch in 1985, and then retired. He died in Los Angeles, on August 2, 2001 from respiratory failure with congestion of the heart.
