His great passion for...Read more books, comics, sci-fi and games led to his writing and directing short animation films, produced by Blur Studio, such as Aunt Luisa (2002), Rockfish (2003), In the Rough (2004) and A Gentlemen`s Duel (2006). Miller’s diversified visual media designs included designing the title sequence (the film’s opening that presents major producers and cast names) of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011). He also designed the 3-minute prologue that was narrated by Anthony Hopkins at the beginning of Thor: The Dark World (2013). Miller made his directorial debut in 2011 with the superhero film, Deadpool (2016), the eighth installment in the X-Men film series, which was a great success. His latest work includes directing Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) and the title sequence of Netflix’s anthology series, Love, Death and Robots (aired in March-2019). In the video games world, Miller was the visual effects supervisor of the games, Mass Effect 2 (2010) and Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011). He also developed the visual effects of Hellgate: London (2007). In 2004, he received the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for his remarkable work in the short animated film, Gopher Broke (2004) as a co-story writer and executive producer. Also, Tim has won awards like Ojai Film Festival Best Animation award. He gained the second place in Palm Springs International ShortFest Jury Award for Best Animation.
