As Emtithal rages when Rushdie leaves the villa without anyone knowing, she worries about him and asks Fathi to look for him. Rushdie returns to the villa in the morning and does not remember anything about his life or his wife, Emtithal.

As Rushdie tries to remember anything about his past life, Emtithal tells him that she is his wife. Fathi tells Emtithal to cut the telephone wires so that Rushdie does not call any doctor.

Rushdie tries to get out of the villa and Atwa prevents him. Fathi asks Emtithal to reduce the dose of the drug so that it does not negatively affect Rushdie. In the evening, Rushdie goes out to the neighboring villa and gets to know his neighbor.

Laila tells her father about their neighbor Rushdie. In the evening, Rushdie goes out and gets to know her father, without Emtithal and Fathi's knowledge.

Dreams haunt Rushdie, as he sees a strange woman in all of his dreams. Meanwhile, Emtithal asks Fathi to sell a plot of land and set up a new project, and Fathi warns her not to enter one of the rooms in the villa because he keeps some important papers inside.

Rushdie tells Laila and her father about his story and that he had a car accident after which he found himself living with people he did not know in the villa, and Laila's father suspects that Rushdie has lost his memory.

As Rushdie celebrates with Laila and her father her birthday, Laila's father deduces that Rushdie has lost his memory two years ago. Rushdie discovers that there is no problem with telephone wires in the area, as Fathi previously claimed.

The maid, Mabrouka, complains to Rushdie about Fathi accusing her of theft. Rushdie gives Emtithal's passport to Laila's father, who discovers that the passport is fake, and tells Rushdie that he doubts that Emtithal is his real wife.

After Rushdie assures Laila's father that the woman in his dreams is his real wife, Emtithal, Laila's father agrees with Rushdie to continue feigning amnesia until he exposes Fathi and Emtithal's fake scheme.

As Rushdie tells Laila's father he suspects that Emtithal and Fathi are plotting to kill him, he advises him not to travel with them. Laila surprises Rushdie by visiting him in the villa, upon which Emtithal meets her coldly.

Laila tells Fathi and Emtithal that she is the lawyer's secretary. Laila's father asks his daughter to keep track of both Emtithal and Fathi all the time. Fathi gets close to Laila and confesses his love for her.

Laila's father agrees with the lawyer to help him enter the villa, without and Emtithal and Fathi suspecting him. Rushdie suggests to Fathi to hire Laila as his private secretary.

As Fathi asks Emtithal to prepare to escape together, he is surprised by Rushdie revealing that he tried to kill his true wife, Emtithal, and that he asked her to poison Rushdie, after which the police arrest them. Rushdie asks Laila to marry her.
