Vivo is a one-of-kind kinkajou who shares a special bond with his owner Andrés, as they both have a passion for music. Vivo finds himself faced with a difficult task, as he must take a journey from his home in Havana to Miami to deliver a song to Andrés' old sweetheart, Marta.
Takumi and Hana, his daughter, reside in the town of Mizubiki, which is near Tokyo. However, their lives are turned upside down when a proposal develops regarding the construction of a camp next to Takumi's home so that visitors may take in the region's breathtaking beauty.
