Among her famous cinema roles are “Hassan we Marika i.e. Hassan and Marika”, “Hekaayet gharaam i.e. A story of love”, “Bein al-kasrein i.e. Palace walk”, “Al-Sokkareyya”, and “Hekaayet al-‘omr kollo i.e. The story of a whole life”. Sabry is well known for her songs “Add eih habbeitak i.e. I love you that much”, “Yahoo i.e. O people!”, “Eddeeny a’alak i.e. Figure it out” and “Feeha gown i.e. Goal!” Maha singed her most famous song “Ma-tezawwa’eeny ya mama” in the film “Montaha al-farah i.e. Ultimate joy”. She also presented ‘Ammaar al-Sherei’y as a composer for the first time, singing his song “Emseko al-khashab i.e. Touch wood”. Maha played the lead role in “Wedaad al-ghazeyya” on stage, played “Na’sa” in TV and hosted with singer Maaher al-‘Attaar the radio program “Amaar al-rabee’ i.e. Spring rain”. Maha Sabry quitted acting following her marriage to a Statesman returned back before getting retired permanently due to her health condition.
