Biography

A Syrian actor, born in Damascus on September 9, 1939. His passion for acting began while he was still in school, when he presented with his companions a play A Land from Hell. He then formed an amateur band with his friends, which prompted the artist Mahmoud Jabr to join them in...Read more the band Artistic Club). In the mid-fifties, there were theatrical activities offered by the art clubs widely spread in the city of Damascus, such as The Free Theater. He joined the artistic club, where he participated in it with a number of artists. A lot of theatrical works were almost abyss, before he broke into the field of television drama in 1968 through the series Happiness Bath, then the movie Tailor for Women. He passed away in Damascus on the 3rd of April 2005.
