An Egyptian set decorator and director, born in 1939. He obtained a BA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1962, then obtained a diploma in directing from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1972. Also a postgraduate diploma in 1976 from the Academy of Arts in Cairo, a master’s in...Read more Cinematic Science for Animation in 1982, then a doctorate in 1986. After which he became the head of the animation department at the Higher Institute of Cinema. He was art director in many films since the 1960s, including: One Day Honeymoon and Forced Vacation. Then he stopped and directed advertisements, and designed film titles and covers for many children's books. He also directed many educational animated films for children for the Joint Program Production Corporation for the Arab Gulf States. He directed the film Women's Police (1988).
