He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1964 and was appointed in television in the following year. He worked there until he retired in 2000 with the rank of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information. He participated in the establishment of several film unions,...Read more such as The New Cinema Group and Union of Artists. He served as the agent of the Syndicate of Film Professions, from 1999 to 2004. Then he participated as the jury member of a number of film festivals. He also edited about 52 feature films and nearly 40 documentaries and short movies. He's known for A Hot Night (1995) and Against the Government (1992).
