A Syrian actor and director of Palestinian origins, born in Damascus. He is the son of poet Nicola Hanna, the cousin of actor Youssef Hanna, one of the pioneers of the National Theater in Syria, and the brother of writer Rim Hana. He graduated in 1997 from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, Acting Department. He began his work in front of the camera immediately after his graduation, as he played many roles in television series, which got him widespread publicity, such as Four Seasons S1 (1999), Palestinian Expatriation (2004) and Red Lipstick (2014). In 2006, he turned to directing. He began by directing short television films, after which he moved on to directing series, such as Ruby (2012), We Shall Meet Tomorrow (2015) and The Daffodil (2008).
