An Egyptian author and writer, born in Alexandria in 1929 to a father who was a naval officer in the Coast Guard. He obtained his high school diploma and joined the Military College. His journey with the press began when he met journalists, Sabri Moussa and Gamal Selim. He worked...Read more as a military correspondent for Al-Jumhuriya newspaper and moved to work at Dar Al-Hilal. He became responsible for editing the Samir children's magazine. He is known for writing "The 13th Devils" series which was adapted into the 2007 movie, The Devils. He passed away on February 24, 2013.
