Biography
Saudi actor, producer and writer, born in Mecca. He holds a PhD in public health and a course from the British High Institute in directing, and a course from the State of Qatar in the field of television directing. He was a director of health and environmental awareness material...Read more at the Ministry of Health. He also obtained a certificate from the High Cinema Institute and several other courses in the fields of directing, screenwriting and cinematography from Egypt. He was a member of the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah, and a member of the Saudi Playwrights Association as well. He was a Chairman of the Chamber of the Jeddah International Film Festival, and had served as a jury member in many festivals. He wrote many series and films, including He Who Returned in Midsummer, and Proverb Tales. He appeared in many plays and local, Arab and Gulf television series, including the plays Weddings and Ghosts, and Coming and Going. He passed away on 16 January 2018.
