Taha Ismail, a former Egyptian football player in Al Ahly SC. He was born on February 8, 1939 in Maadi. He played for Al Ahly SC in the attacking center in the sixties and also played for the Egyptian national and military team. He joined the first team at the end of the fifties and scored many championships with Al Ahly SC. He retired after football activity stopped due to the 1967 setback. He trained in several Gulf clubs, then took over the training of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian team, in addition to the first team of Al Ahly SC. He is currently analyzing football matches on satellite TV. His nickname in the sixties was "Sheikh Taha".
