He also worked as a teacher of arithmetic, algebra and engineering for the preparatory stages in Egypt and Morocco. After graduating from university, he worked as a financial and administrative inspector at the Ministry of Youth in the sixties. After his success in publishing some stories, he moved to mass culture. He remained in mass culture until he traveled to Switzerland in 1979 and worked in the Arabic written, visual and audio press in Geneva. Among his works is Years of Love and Salt series. He passed away on April 10, 2020.
