An Egyptian journalist, he is the editor-in-chief and chairman of the board of Al-Watani Al-Youm newspaper. He began working as a journalist in Rose al Yusuf magazine, then as an editor-in-chief of Al-Midan newspaper, from which he moved to occupy the position of executive editor-in-chief for the weekly issue of Nahdet Masr newspaper. Among his works is The Night of Foxes series in 2008.
