He is married to...Read more a woman called Colette and they have a daughter named "Ellen" and two sons "Liam Jr." and "Sean" Cunningham's career started through "Into the West"(1992) followed by "War of the Buttons"(1994), A Little Princess(1995), "Jude"(1996) in addition to "Police 2020"(1997) and "Falling for a Dancer"(1998) in which he was nominated for IFTA Best Leading Performance. Moreover in 2008 he was highly recognized for his role as Father Dominic Moran in film "Hunger". In that film he earned an award as Best Supporting Actor (Film), 6th IFTA and was nominated as Best Supporting Actor, BIFA 2008. Currently he is playing the role of Alec Wade in action thriller film "Safe House"(2012)
