Zoheir Boraq was born in Aleppo in 1934. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Damascus in 1960, then traveled to England to specialize in orthopedic surgery in 1969. He opened his practice in 1970. He held many positions, including head of the orthopedic department at...Read more Al-Kindi Hospital for more than 12 years and head of the Aleppo Doctors Syndicate branch for four years from 1986 to 1989. His literary inclinations began in middle school as he wrote school plays. During his university studies, he began writing plays for the radio, and after graduating and returning from England, he began writing television series, most notably Warm Hearts and Spring Without Flowers.
