Syrian writer born in 1930. After obtaining his education, he worked as a teacher. Afterward, he left Hama and traveled to Damascus. He then moved to Morocco and from there to Jordan until he traveled to the Gulf. He worked on the radio until his fame reached the BBC in London...Read more which broadcasted several of his successful radio works. He is known for the series "When Spring Cries". He wrote a collection of short stories called "Sixteen Years and More" in 1965. In 1986, he released another collection of short stories under the name "Little Fingers Growing in the Dark". His stories and radio programs achieved success in the Arab world, and he died on March 1, 1989.
