An Iraqi actor, born in 1960 in Maysan. He obtained a higher diploma in theater from the Institute of Fine Arts in Basra and Baghdad in 1979. He also obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts. He left Iraq during the war and moved between Damascus, Cairo, Kuwait, and Tehran, as he had a permanent presence on the stages there. In 1996, he moved to St. Petersburg, where he joined the Theater Academy and defended his doctoral thesis in 1999 entitled "The Condolence Theater in Iraq". Some of his credits include Alienation (2011), In My Heart (2020) and The Red Violet (2014).
