A Lebanese musician, born in Tripoli. He studied playing the oud at the National Higher Conservatory of Music from 1966 until 1973. He began his composing journey during his studies in 1967 with a song entitled “Ghalab Al Hawa” performed by singer Mohamed Al Zein, followed by the...Read more song “Qamar Al Layl” by Walid Tawfik. In 1993, he founded the Al Shorouk band with a number of musicians, which was the mainstay of the Tripoli festivals, but this band only lasted four years. Some of his credits include Fish Without Bones (1978) and Melodies (1986).
