Lee Edward Unkrich is an American director and editor that was born in Cleveland, Ohio on the 8th of August, 1967. Unkrich is a member of the Pixar creative team. As a youth, Unkrich acted at the Cleveland Playhouse. Unkrich later graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. He has been working as part of the Pixar team since 1994. Unkrich has three children from whom he sometimes received feedback for his ideas.
