He later joined the Australian...Read more Film & Television School in 1973 and shot his first film as a professional in 1977. Soon afterwards, Noyce attained commercial and critical success with “Newsfront” and won the Australian Film Institute awards for Best Film, Screenplay and Director for that effort. Since then, (Noyce) has been involved in the making of several cinema and television series in Australia and the United States. His work “The Quiet American” was nominated for an Academy Award. Moreover he has also won the Australian Film Institute award.
