An American actor, born March 26, 1940 in the Bronx. He spent his youth in Queens, New York City, USA. But during a study holiday that did not exceed one week, he successfully passed a match to enroll in the Neighborhood Theater School under the supervision of Sanford Meisner. He also received a scholarship to study with Wayne Handman, and was then selected for four roles to perform on stage. James's first appearance was in 1961 in "Laronde" by Arthur Schnitzler. He then presented a number of television works, as in the series Honours, Doubt, Route 66 and Naked City. In 1971, James Kahn was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work in: The Godfather in 1972, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) and His Way (2011).
