An Australian director, writer, and producer, born in 1948. He got interested in cinema at the age of 10, making a number of short 8mm films. He started his career as an assistant cameraman in a television advertising company. In 1967, he went to the United States and enrolled in...Read more university there. He then returned to Australia to work as an assistant director on the popular TV series Homicide. In 1983, he directed the sequel of the movie that caught his eye as a young boy, "Psycho" and was titled Psycho II. After that, he worked between film and television and ended his career with the horror movie Visitors (2003). He died on July 11, 2007 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
