She was born on April 23, 1979, in Nebraska, Omaha, USA. She married Kyle Newman in 2007. She worked as a model. She has two brothers. Her parents got divorced in 1994. She studied in a home study program so she could pursue a modeling career. She was discovered at the age of 14 alongside Halle Berry. She made her first appearance through a comedy role, in 2003 she was nominated for the Best Actress Award. In 2007 she presented a difficult role in a horror movie accompanied by her husband, inspired by real events, and her roles varied between cinema and television works. She worked in: Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Pearl Harbor Pearl Harbor (2001) and My Bloody Valentine (2009).
