An American actor, writer, director, and producer, born on November 21, 1944, in Chicago. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1966. He began his career as a joke editor in a magazine. In 1969, he joined the Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Chicago. His most notable films include Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Stripes, and Knocked Up. He died on February 24, 2014, in his hometown of Chicago.
