He started acting in university theatre productions, and after graduation joined a number of independent theatre troupes. Ahmed Kamal then took the young actor under his wing,...Read more and trained him in his studio. He was spotted by director Magdi Ahmed Ali, who cast him in his movie Birds of the Nile (2010). He also appeared in the TV series Life Sweetness (2017), and Above Suspicion (2016).
