An American writer, born in Los Angeles, California, USA. He graduated from Franklin High School in Highland Park, Los Angeles. He attended Columbia University in New York, USA. He took a year off to work as an assistant director in the movie Exodus (1960), which his father wrote. He's known for The Don Is Dead (1973) and Brannigan (1975). He died on January 8, 2011.
