Canadian philanthropist born on 8 October 1938 in Canning, Ontario, Canada. His most notable works include Waking Up Wally: The Walter Gretzky Story (2005). He married Phyllis Gretzky and had 5 children including hockey icon Wayne Gretzky. He died of Parkinson's disease complications on 4 March 2021 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
