Fisher, a critic of the lack of substantive roles for female comedians in Hollywood, has co-written a script entitled "Groupies" with SNL veteran Amy Poehler, as well as another project, "The Cookie Queen." In 2013's animated epic "Rise of the Guardians," Fisher voiced the part of the Tooth Fairy. In her most serious project yet, Fisher was cast as Myrtle Wilson in the highly anticipated "The Great Gatsby" alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton.
