His autobiography, The Rock Says..., was published in 2000 and debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list, where it remained for several weeks. He made his film debut in The Mummy Returns (2001) as the Scorpion King. His character got its own sequel in The Scorpion King (2002). His other film credits include The Rundown (2003), Gridiron Gang (2006), Get Smart (2008), Faster (2010), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and G.I. Joe Retaliation (2013).
