Jill Baker is a British stage, film and television actress. Born in the U.K. in 1951, she made her debut in the TV movie "Savages" (1975) and has worked consistently in television ever since. She played Lady de Lesseps in the Oscar-winning "Shakespeare in Love" (1998) and an adulteress' mother in the Oscar-nominated "Notes on a Scandal" (2006). At 58, she braved nudity on stage in the London stage production of "Calendar Girls" in 2010. She was married to actor Bob Peck from 1982 to 1999, when he died of cancer. She has three children from this marriage. In 2011, she had a supporting role in "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen."
