Egyptian screenwriter born on 3 May 1958 in a village in Menouf, Menoufia Governorate. He studied journalism in the faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University and graduated in 1980. He was affiliated for most of his life with publications released by the Muslim Brotherhood....Read more He was imprisoned in 1981 after the assassination of President Sadat then released after 10 months.
