He worked on Picador Porky (1937), which was his first cartoon, and provided the voice of a drunken bull. He played his first starring role providing Porky Pig's voice in Porky's Duck Hunt, in which the character of Daffy Duck, also voiced by Blanc, was introduced. Blanc also voiced the character of Woody Woodpecker. He died on July 10, 1989 in Los Angeles, California, USA, of heart disease and emphysema.
