Soon after to moving to the United States, she was cast as the repulsive roommate in the hit comedy "Bridesmaids." The role opened up enormous opportunities for the young Aussie, who then went on to star in "Pitch Perfect" (2012), "What to Expect When You're Expecting" (2012) and "Bachelorette" (2012) alongside Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Kirsten Dunst.
