Peter Chernin is an American businessman and investor. He is the founder of Chernin Group, which operates and invests in businesses in the media, entertainment and technology sectors. Chernin started producing films with the 2011 science-fiction box office hit “Rise of the Planet...Read more of the Apes”. He also produced the family comedy “Parental Guidance” (2012), the post-apocalyptic science-fiction film “Oblivion” (2013), the cop comedy “The Heat” (2013) and the Planet of the Apes sequel “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” (2014).
