An American singer-songwriter, born on December 5, 1982 in Decatur, Georgia. During her teens, Hilson studied piano and singing and joined the girl group Dee Signe when she was 17. She attended Oxford College of Emory University, where she majored in theater. Hilson began writing songs in 2001, collaborating with famous singers, such as Britney Spears, Ciara, and Usher. In 2006, Hilson signed with Timbaland's record label Mosley Music and was featured on Lloyd Banks' single, Help. Her most famous films are: Riddick, and Think Like a Man.
