An American actor born in Newport News, on June 10, 1949. He participated in the school theater, and after high school he became a theater student at the University of Illinois. His career began in the theater. He graduated in 1974 and moved to the cinema. His artistic career began in 1981. He was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. He participated in many works, including: The Silence of the Lambs (1991), White Chicks (2004), Hannibal 2001 and Adam(2009).
