An Indian actress, born on July 8, 1958. She started her career at the age of eight in the 1966 movie Dus Lakh, then worked in several movies as a child. Her first starring role was in the movie Rickshawala (1972), then she participated in several films such as: Zehreela Insaan...Read more (1974), Kabhi Kabhie (1976), and The Burning Train (1980). In 1980 she married Rishi Kapoor and became the daughter-in-law of Raj Kapoor. She quit acting for a while, then returned with her husband in several films such as Do Dooni Chaar (2010), and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
