An Indian director, born in Chennai, India. He is a former mechanical engineer. He has made films that are considered classics of Kollywood (Tamil-language cinema). His most notable works include Mayakkam Enna (2011), Pudhu Pettai (2006), NGK (2019), and Naane Varuven (2022). In addition to directing these films, he has also co-written all of them.
