An Egyptian theater director who was born in 1939 in Sharkia Governorate, Egypt. He acted on theatre while he was a high-school student. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and joined the World Theater Division. In 1963, he was assigned to the Modern...Read more Theater and then to the Musical Performance Troupe in 1967. He directed Yassin and Bahia, and Adham Al-Sharqawi. He was appointed as first director of Al-Samer Theater in September 1971. He directed for Al-Samer troupe some biographies, the most important of which are Shafiqa and Metwally, and Ali AlZibaq. He received the State Encouragement Award in 1985 for directing the play Al-Hilali Biography at Al-Ghouri Agency, Al-Samer Theatre.
