He is known for The West Wing (2001-2006), Game of Thrones (2013-2014) and The Crude Oasis (1993). He received a Humanitas Prize for his work on the episode "NSF Thurmont." He received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for two episodes he directed, The West Wing: 2162 Votes (2005) and "Posse Comitatus," in the series The West Wing (2001-2006).
