In 1981, he launched Michael Kors, a brand that bears his name. During this year, Kors launched his first women's clothing collection. He has always loved the world of fashion design despite working as a model in his childhood, where he participated in several commercials. When he was 23 years old, he caught the attention of fashion journalist Anna Wintour, with his designs that she admired. In 1984, he organized his first fashion show to include shoes in his clothing collection in 1989, and in 2004 he launched a swimwear line, and this year he also joined the Project Runway jury. In 2009, the lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama, wore a distinctive black dress bearing the signature of Kors, and since then Kors designs have achieved wide fame.
