An amateur actor, originally from Ghana, Burkina Faso. He was born in Ghana in 1986 to a Ghanaian mother and father from Burkina Faso. He was raised in Ivory Coast and was sent to his father’s family in Zabra, Burkina Faso. He started looking for a job at the age of 13 and tried...Read more to immigrate to Mali, but was arrested in Algeria. He had an illegal trip to Europe, through Niger, Algeria, and Libya to reach Italy. Thanks to his knowledge of several African languages, he was hired as an interpreter by an Italian agency and obtained his identity papers. He resided in the countryside near Calabria and became active in the movement of defending the immigrant workers who rioted in Rosarno in January 2010. Director Jonas Carpignano nominated him for the leading role in A Chjàna (Short 2012) and Mediterranea (2015) which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
