She became known in Turkey and the Arab world when she embodied the character of "Alia" in the famous Turkish drama Layth and Noura (2013) starring Kivanc Tatlitug and Farah Zeinab Abdullah. In the cinema, she appeared in 2015 with her first movie, Keep Your Promise. The real shift in her artistic life is her starring role in the famous Turkish youth drama Çilek Kokusu with Yusef Çem and Ekin Mert Dimaz. A romantic relationship arose between Demet Ozdemir and Yusef Çem during the filming of the series Çilek Kokusu.
