An American fiction writer, who received her BA from Rollins College and her MFA from Emerson College. She wrote two collections of short stories, for which she has won several literary awards, and one novel. She was awarded the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award in 2010 and 2014. In 2021, she received the Strauss Livings Award. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her husband, Paul Yoon. She's known for The Burning Season (2022) and Up High in the Air (2014). |
