Susan attended the Children's Professional School, then studied at the High School of Music and Arts in New York and the High School of Dramatic Art in Manhattan. Susan worked for a while as a model and made her first television work at 15. She is best known for her roles in Scream of Fear (1961), Picnic (1956), Schweitzer (1990), and Kapo (1960).
