His short film, At Thy Call (2008), won several awards, including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Visual Effects, and Brothers in Arms: 1978 won awards at the Apollo Film Festival and the KKNK (Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees) Festival in the Western Cape.
