A German-American actress, born in Norddorf, Amrum Island, Germany, as Dorothea Christine Arens. Dorothy married three times and had one child. Dorothy Vernon's most important works are Lovers Lane (1924), The Fighting Guide (1922), Twinkletoes (1926), and Riders from Nowhere...Read more (1940). She was born to a father who worked in a lighthouse. She immigrated to the United States of America in 1897 and presented more than 300 works. Her career extended from the first days of the emergence of silent films, through the introduction of sound into films, until she joined television work, and presented all types of films, including comedy, music, drama, adventure, and more. She died in Granada Hills, California, USA, on October 28, 1970, from heart disease.
