Since 1916, Griffith was part of the L-Ko Comedies, which often collaborated with Dan Russell on such short films as The Right Car But the Wrong Berth, Murder By Mistake (both 1916) and Heart Sick at Sea (1917). She became known for her role in the 1917's The Little Princess. Since then, she has had prominent roles in films such as Pollyanna (1920) and Huckleberry Finn (1920). She died of cerebral hemorrhage on October 17, 1921 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
